Looking out onto stage,

Looking out onto stage,

I feel a rush

I know that is where I belong

Looking out at the crowd,

I feel joy

I know that they are my motivation

Looking into the lights,

I feel complete

I know they are my restoration

Looking at my fellow cast members

I feel love

I know they are my family

There is nothing that can compare

To the feeling I get when I’m on stage

I’m home, with friends- with family

And there is no place I’d rather be

I would do anything to bask in the love of

All of those people in the house

Staring up at me

And I live for the applause

That special applause that I recognize

As something that is just for me

Looking at my life

I feel comfort

For I have found something I love to do

And I am loved for doing it

My name is Sam and I'm posting this poem on here to try to win a scholarship. I'm having a really hard time with paying for college, but I'm not letting it get to me though. I have my friends, my family, and my passion, and with all of those things, I can't really go wrong, can I? :)
